These differ from the rules that hold nationally — they are the ones that catch out drivers who studied another state’s handbook.
1. Under Oregon’s zero-tolerance rule for drivers under 21, you will fail an alcohol test if you have a blood alcohol concentration of:
- A0.05% or more only
- B0.08% or more only
- C0.02% or more only
- Any amount

2. For an Oregon driver 21 or older, you will fail a breath/blood alcohol test if your BAC is:

3. Before an Oregon driver license under age 18, you must generally have had an instruction permit for at least 6 months and:
- 100 hours of supervised driving, or 50 hours plus an ODOT-approved traffic safety education course
- BNo practice-hour requirement
- C200 hours with a parent only
- D25 hours of any driving
