Source hierarchy
State driver and CDL manuals, state licensing pages, FMCSA rules and guidance, and other first-party publications take priority. A source record includes an edition or retrieval date and the sections linked to questions.
Verified requirement tables
For cite-ready comparisons we publish only figures we can source. See permit test requirements by state and CDL requirements by state. Blanks mean “not verified yet,” not a guess. How we write questions is documented in our methodology.
Copyright and trademarks
Agency names and exam names identify the subject of independent educational material. They remain the property of their respective owners. QuizLane does not copy proprietary commercial question banks.
