Answer: 20 feet from the bus. Wis. Stat. §346.48 requires the operator of a vehicle approaching from the front or rear any school bus displaying flashing red warning lights to stop not less than 20 feet from the bus and remain stopped until the bus resumes motion or the operator extinguishes the flashing red warning lights.

2. On a Wisconsin divided highway, the requirement to stop for a school bus with flashing red lights does not apply when meeting the bus:
- AOnly after dark
- BFrom behind in the same direction
- Traveling in the opposite direction
- DAt any time on any road
Answer: Traveling in the opposite direction. Wis. Stat. §346.48 provides an exception so that the stop requirement does not apply to the operator of a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction on a divided highway.

3. An emergency vehicle with lights and siren is approaching from behind. You should generally:
- ATurn left at the next intersection
- BSpeed up to stay ahead
- CStop in your lane immediately
- Move toward the right edge and stop when safe
